Meet JJ Ben‑Joseph
JJ Ben-Joseph (יונתן יהודה בן יוסף) is a seasoned technology leader and venture investor at the forefront of biology, artificial intelligence, and security. He developed AgentCures, an autonomous AI agent that accelerates drug discovery with the audacious goal of curing every disease.
Over the past two decades, JJ has blended deep technical expertise with strategic vision. He began his career as a Computer Scientist at a US government agency (let's just say it was a secretive organization of three letters) architecting large-scale machine learning and cybersecurity systems. He was Technical Architect for B.Next at In-Q-Tel, he guided biosecurity investments and maintained open-source pandemic-response software long before COVID-19. His work earned him fellowships at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security (Emerging Leader in Biosecurity) and the Foresight Institute (Biosecurity & AI Fellow), and a fellowship at the American Jewish Committee, where he honed skills in diplomacy, public policy, and advocacy for the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
JJ has also served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at AION Labs, co-founding the stealth biotech startup ProPhet. When he’s not coding or advising, you’ll find him experimenting with specialty-grade espresso or sketching system architectures on café napkins, always eager for the next challenge.
